Context & Objective
Between 2022 and 2023, BeSophro partnered with Labatec, a multinational pharmaceutical company, to deliver a wellbeing programme supporting employees across multiple countries.
The initiative was part of Labatec’s Talent Attraction & Retention and Employee Wellbeing Strategy, with the objective of equipping teams with practical tools to manage stress, sustain performance, and strengthen leadership capabilities in a rapidly evolving industry.
The Challenge
In a post-COVID context, Labatec faced a complex challenge.
How do you support wellbeing across multicultural and multilingual teams, while navigating different work environments, time zones, and increasing mental load?
The need was for a solution that was flexible, accessible, and immediately effective, without adding additional strain to employees’ schedules.
The BeSophro Approach
BeSophro designed the ZenWorkplace programme as a practical, easy-to-integrate solution built around short, guided sessions.
Each session combined breathing, gentle movement and visualisation with applied neuroscience and coaching insights, allowing participants to experience immediate benefits while building long-term skills. The focus was on helping individuals regulate their nervous system, release tension, and create mental space to respond more effectively to daily challenges.
The programme was designed and delivered by Natalia Bulloch-Stepanova, Sophrologist at BeSophro, specialising in corporate wellbeing and the development of resilience and emotional intelligence in the workplace.
Programme Overview
The programme consisted of six weekly online sessions of 30 minutes, delivered to 70 professionals across three countries.
Each session provided a structured yet experiential approach, ensuring that participants could apply the techniques in real time and integrate them into their daily routines.

The results highlighted both immediate and lasting benefits:
- Over 70% of participants felt better equipped to handle daily business challenges
- Over 80% reported improved mind-body awareness, supporting better stress management and emotional resilience
Beyond these metrics, participants developed stronger capabilities in managing pressure, maintaining focus, and approaching challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
